Mathias Hefel is a trained businessman and social pedagogue. He was the owner of a company for experiential education and an agency for communication. For over ten years he has been active as a producer of cinema documentaries, Im Spiegel – In the Mirror (2018), Berge im Kopf – Mountains in the Mind (2014), of numerous documentary series for Swiss television, including Das Tribunal (2019), Die Parkourprofis (2017) and television documentaries.
Mathias Hefel works as a producer in story and project development as well as executive producer, production manager, sound engineer and has supported the establishment of Vollbild Film GmbH from the beginning and became a partner, managing director and producer of Vollbild Film GmbH in 2018, together with Edgar Hagen.
