In production, completion end of 2024
Four persons, accompanied by their grown up children, want to solve the mystery of their childhood past. They set out in search of the truth and ask themselves questions: Who was their father? Why were they abused as children? Why do they encounter cold silence from their mothers and fathers and/or from relatives and authorities? Why couldn't they grow up with their parents? In the archives, the former home and foster children and their daughters and sons find files that have been kept under lock and key for decades, providing answers to open questions about their lives. In the stirring reading, the dense and systematic silence gets cracks and gradually dissolves. Step by step, the film brings to light the foundation of our society that drove our protagonists into victimhood for decades. The film forces me to confront my past to live a better future.
